Full Membership Fee includes the annual affiliation fees remitted to provincial and national governing bodies ( OLBA and Bowls Canada per player). Members who belong to more than one Ontario club only have to pay these fees once. Therefore if BLBC is not your primary club, you will only have to pay the club portion.

Want to lawn bowl all year round? No problem! At BLBC you can bowl indoors from October to April. We roll out 3 mats in our clubhouse. The game is similar to outdoors but the greens are mats (shorter & narrower than outside) with a block in the middle to make the game more challenging. Small bowls are supplied, all you need is indoor flat-soled shoes.
Access to an on-site locker to store your personal belongings while you play.
2021 Junior Lawn Bowling Opportunity
The Burlington Lawn Bowling Club welcomes Junior members from 7 right up to 21 years of age. The cost of membership is a mere $35 with bowls equipment provided. All you need is a pair of flat soled shoes to protect the greens from damage.
Our annual Open House Week is usually the first week of May - every day at 1pm and 7:15 pm, but due to the pandemic, we ask that you please check this website, on the clubs gates or in local papers for the latest information. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents and juniors to visit our club which is the home of one of the best natural greens in Canada and an opportunity to have any questions about our Junior program answered. Come out and try the game..... for free!
We are hopeful about our 2021 Junior Season. During July and August, we will meet on the greens for an hour of creative instruction, complete with refreshments and games to keep the fun in learning. Every Wednesday evening between 6 & 7pm., coaches offer advise and instruction. Care givers are required to remain on site with children aged 12 and younger. At no extra charge, teens are encouraged to take lessons from June through September and to take advantage of extra training with our Director of Coaching's adult sessions which are held Wednesday evenings from 7:15 to 9pm (call Mary at 905 315-7837 for more information)
With some training, all Juniors may come out any afternoon to join in "Open Bowling" games or when deemed capable enough, compete in club tournaments linked to an adult bowler. Anyone can bowl!! Comfortable clothing and a hat to shield the sun and your set. Bowls are available to borrow at the club. You may wish to purchase your own bowls but we suggest you don't do that until you are sure of the size that suits you.
