District and Provincial Championships updates

Provincial Open 4's - June 13 and 14, 2026 - Pickering, ON

There were 6 women's and 8 men's teams entered in this competition.

For the women, the team of Elizabeth Cormack (Richmond Hill), Pat Binnie (Burlington), Gloria Cheung (Richmond Hill) and Teresa Bucknall (Beamsville) were undefeated and won the GOLD MEDAL.  They will be heading to North Vancouver  for the Nationals, August 16-24, 2026.  Wish them well. 

In second place was the team of Jill Calvert-Goetz, Pat Kaufmann, Sandy Weatherall and Katrina Carter.  Third place was held by Betty Robitaille, Carol MacDonald, Lori Bone and Laurie McLeod. 

For the men, Derek McKie's team of Peter Mutter,  Murray Bennewies, and Everett Zwiers received gold.  Second place was Erik Galipeau, John Bezear, Rick Lyons and Rob Galipeau.  Third place was the young Junior team of Isaac Kerr, Cayden Carter, Jacob Hyatt and Dekker Ly.
