District 5 - Mixed Pairs Championship

Sat. July 26 and Sun. July 27 - The Burlington team of Pat Binnie and Patrick Cote placed first in Dundas against Marion Brunton and Cary Lucier  The Francella's won against Elizabeth Blunt and Chuck Agro, taking third. There were eight teams participating, resulting in a 2-day tournament (it's been a while since there have been enough teams to warrant playing on the second day). The top three teams will be participating in the Provincial Mixed Pairs being held in Burlington August 8-10.  Wish them luck and congratulations to all participants!
