US Open in Sun City, AZ

After participating in the Canadian Indoor Singles Qualifiers the week before, Pat Binnie left for Arizona to play in the 2025 US Open. Many familiar Canadian names did well in various flights. The Overall winner was Rachel Wolfenden of Australia who won against Mare Beath of the US.  In third and fourth place were Jordan Kos (SK) and Claire Day (AB). Linda Ng of BC placed second in the 2nd flight. Mary Wright of BC placed first in the 4th flight, just beating out Pat Binnie.  Congratulations to all bowlers and medalists, especially Pat and Linda, who played hard the week before at the Canadian Indoor Qualifiers. 

Pat also competed in Open Women's Fours with teammates Sherri Currie, Jean English and Dee McSparran and won the gold medal.  In 2nd place was Manya Urane, Mary Spease, Tricia Quan and Kottia Moore.  Third place was  Mary Wright (BC), Heather Hanoski, Donna Rawson and Eva Lee.  First place, Second Flight was Jorda Kos (SK), Veronica Sum, Linda Ng (BC) and Anita Nivala.  Second place, Second Flight was Inger Benson, Angie Irwin, Janet Watson and Lois Kos.
